It the final stretch now - nearly at the finishing line. I have about 20 days left in the Swaz and a million things to do!

This includes five reports - two donor, one survey report, one internal progress report, one hand over report. I've already done about 27000 words and there's more to do. There is someone coming to replace me - she has been selected. She's coming to overlap with me on my final week. I have to take her on a whistle stop tour of the country and of the partners and introduce her to everyone she will be working with.

There's also a technical working group I'm planning with the partners next week to decide on the material that will be included in the refresher days this year, when all 4234 training participants or as many as possible will be contacted again and refreshed! I also have to do evaluations on myself and all my little team to hand over to the new lady.

Eybo! Lots of work! Don't worry though good people, it's not a case of all work and no play. It is a case of very tired person having as much fun as possible and working too hard, but there is fun too! Oh yes! We are planning a weekend in Mozambique and a weekend in the rock lodge which is a lovely place. Ask Harriet if you know her! We went there when she visited.

I haven't been in the field for the longest time so there are no stories to tell about that but I do have one for urban living in Swaziland. We had to have a pre pay electricity meter fitted today. Everyone has to have one. They fitted it with 30 units of electricity which they told us will not last over night, but we can't top up because they have to go back to the office and input the data of the box before we can do that. They will do that tomorrow. :o) We will be without power tonight thanks to the electricity company!! God bless the Swaz!
